Jade came to market research from an academic background in cross-cultural psychology. She has a BA from Columbia University and an MA from the University of California, where she spent an additional four years as a doctoral candidate, supported by grants from the National Science Foundation and the University of California.
Her research focused on identifying and quantifying emotional responses and utilized a range of observational and experimental techniques, including survey research, ethnography, and behavioural economics games.
Jade left her doctoral programme for a career in market research, where she has specialized in quantitative brand and communications research, particularly advertising copy testing and campaign development.
